Paul O’Farrell

Paul O’Farrell is an experienced banking professional and chartered accountant with over 30 years of international banking and risk management knowledge with PricewaterhouseCoopers, National Australia Bank (NAB) and Bankwest.  Paul worked for NAB in Melbourne, Perth and New York in a variety of roles including the State Head of Risk for Business Banking, Western Australia and Head of Strategic Business Services.  His Western Australian role saw Paul lead a team of 33 credit risk professionals during the mining boom and the Global Financial Crisis.  Upon returning to Perth from New York in 2013, Paul worked at Bankwest, most recently as a General Manager in the Products & Marketing division focused on risk culture and governance.

Paul has an in-depth understanding of the issues facing businesses when applying for and reviewing finance facilities and has a strong network of relationships throughout the Western Australian banking industry and nationally.  Since 2016 as Managing Director of Quadrant Advisory, his banking and credit risk knowledge has delivered real value to clients in a number of situations including applying for finance, dealing with financier asset management units and succession planning.

Paul’s unique blend of corporate banking, credit risk and business assessment skills across a range of industries, combined with an independent director’s perspective, are of significant value to a company looking to be proactive with their financial position and banking options including funding for growth. Paul has assisted a number of clients with their strategic planning and risk management frameworks through involvement on their advisory board and/or direct advice to the board and executive management.

Paul is a Certified Chair and is also a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ, a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Green Belt in Lean Productivity. He is a Non-Executive Director of Richmond Wellbeing, a WA based mental health services provider, and Jinji Resources Finance Pty Ltd.
