    1. This is ADVISORY BOARD CENTRE PTY LTD ACN 161 907 697 (“ABC”) privacy policy which adopts the Australian Privacy Principles (“APP’s”) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”) (“Privacy Policy”)

This Privacy Policy describes your privacy rights regarding our collection, use, disclosure, secure, dispose, storage, sharing and protection of your information, including any Personal Information. It applies to the Website, and all related sites, applications, services and tools regardless of how you access them.

Parties bound

    1. You accept this Privacy Policy when you access the Website, or otherwise accept our Services.
    2. We may amend this Privacy Policy in accordance with the Privacy Act at any time by posting a revised version on the Website. The revised version will be effective 7 days after it being posted on the Website. For the avoidance of doubt, the current version of the Privacy Policy will remain in effect until the revised version takes effect. When changes are made to this Privacy Policy, a notification will be sent to you by email or posted on your Member Profile.

(a) the types of personal information ABC collects about you through its website;
(b) how ABC collects this information;
(c) the general purposes for which ABC collects information.

How we collect information

    1. We collect information sent to us by your computer, mobile phone, or other access device when you:

(a) navigate to the Domain, or any related pages with a web browser, or
(b) otherwise use the Website to obtain information, Products, or Services from us; or
(c) correspond with us by email, or communicate electronically with third-party booking tools for our events.

If you are an attendee, presenter, or guest at an Advisory Board Centre program and/or event (in-person or virtual) and you are captured as part of our media coverage (for example, in a photo, audio recording or video), you acknowledge and consent to such recording and its use in publication, such as media, promotional material and/or exhibition.

(b) for a secondary purpose which directly relates to the primary purpose; and
(c) with your consent or where required or authorised by law.

    1. (a) Where reasonable and practical to do so, we will collect your personal information only from you. However, in some circumstances, we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of this information provided to us by the third party.
