ABF101 Advisory Board Best Practice Framework™ was developed by the Advisory Board Centre as a foundation for the global advisory sector. It sets out five core principles which are pillars to support organisations of any size to benefit from their advisory board. Non-binding and non-prescriptive, the framework encourages adaptation to the organisation’s needs and operating environment.
The guiding principles help to dig deep and understand if the way you are approaching your advisory board, committee meetings, or high-level executive meetings is right.
Whether you are sitting on a board or hold a senior executive role, it’s a flexible framework that can be applied to all manner of situations, styles, and personalities. In fact, we believe in best practice so much, we created an Ethics and Best Practice Advisory Board to focus on it!
