Lorna Johnson, ICD.D, MAICD, Certified Advisory Board Chair, is the Americas Community Chair with the Advisory Board Centre. Lorna serves on the Bristol Gate ETF Independent Review Committee and is an Executive in Residence with the Victoria Innovation Advanced Technology Entrepreneurship Council (VIATEC) Accelerator Program. She advises tech start-ups ranging from digital pet IDs, to spend management apps to a wellness marketplace, adding value in the areas of business model design, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. Lorna is the President Elect (2022-23) for the Rotary Club of Victoria-Harbourside, serves on its Board, and chairs the club’s fundraising committee. Previously, Lorna was Senior VP, Product Services and Innovation with Interac (Canada), Head of Deposits and Online Banking with Saint George Bank, now Westpac (Australia), Board Director with BPAY Australia, Head of Product & Marketing Transformation with AXA Australia and a management consultant with Booz and Co., now PWC Strategy& (USA, Australia). Lorna received her MBA and Masters in Environmental Studies from Yale University, her Bachelor of Science in Forestry from U. New Brunswick and a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deacon University. In 2017, Lorna was selected to Diversity Canada’s cohort of 50 diverse candidates to impact Canada’s corporate boards and improve global competitiveness.
